Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Staff VP to lead Carelon Growth, driving external growth strategy and leading sales across all client channels. The role requires organizing sales efforts, aligning with the Carelon business plan and solution roadmap, and engaging clients while coordinating with marketing.

The position manages a team and supports marketing collaboration, with hybrid work and in-office collaboration 3 days per week. Location is flexible among Elevance offices.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree and at least 10 years of related experience.
• Healthcare and Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Experience in health plan or payer industry advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead sales growth initiatives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new business to meet growth and profitability goals.
• Blend market validation, outreach, and prospecting to support sales strategy.
• Build growth playbooks from analysis and external/internal perspectives.
• Coordinate marketing and communications with the appropriate leader.
• Establish sales and support functions for new client growth.
• Assist in proposal responses and content for growth initiatives.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate direct reports; travel as needed.
