Job summary

Okta seeks a Staff-level UX researcher to own an AI-forward research roadmap at the intersection of Identity, Security, and AI. You will drive qualitative and quantitative methods to define experiences for autonomous AI agents, workflows, and developer platforms.

You will scale research operations with agentic workflows, while mentoring teams and collaborating with Product, Design, ML Engineering, and Data Science to deliver high-impact insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on UX research in complex B2B/enterprise software.
• Master's or PhD in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, CS, DS or related field.
• Experience researching AI agents and security-focused UX.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, ML Eng, Data Science.
• Proven mentorship and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI agent research and evaluate autonomous agents for security.
• Apply mixed-methods research to inform product experiences.
• Integrate AI tools and prompt workflows into daily practice.
