WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a researcher to join our growing UX research team, dedicated to creating a more user-centered and data-driven product experience. Our team values collaboration and a thorough understanding of problem contexts. As a UX Researcher at The Trade Desk, you will have the opportunity to influence our rapidly expanding platform used worldwide, informing product design with qualitative and quantitative data, generating ideas, and deepening our understanding of users.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 7+ years of experience as a user researcher within a technology company
• Expertise in various research methods—secondary synthesis, in-depth interviews, surveys, and creative design research—to address business questions and influence product strategy. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on research roadmaps spanning tactical and long-term initiatives.
• Proficiency in translating business questions into clear research objectives and developing plans considering timing and resources.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, complex, or ambiguous environments, providing guidance on research methodologies, analysis, and communicating results.
• Attention to detail, rigor in qualitative analysis, and ability to integrate metrics when appropriate.
• Strong storytelling skills to communicate research findings effectively to diverse audiences, including executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and formats.
• Keeping up-to-date with user research trends, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in B2B and advertising technology is a plus.

NOTE: This role is limited to residents of CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC, in accordance with local laws. Compensation ranges are estimates and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include healthcare, 401k with company match, stock options, paid holidays, parental leave, and more. Interns are not eligible for certain incentives and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $124,900—$228,900 USD.
