Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its Client Experience Frameworks group. You’ll build framework-agnostic UI components and a shared design system used by product engineers worldwide, focusing on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

You will own technical direction, drive platform adoption, and mentor engineers across teams while shaping architecture decisions that scale with Addepar’s growing product suite.

Qualifications

• Deep TypeScript expertise and maintainable, type-safe code.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks and component architecture across multiple stacks.
• Built or maintained a design system or shared UI infrastructure.
• Track record influencing technical decisions and stakeholders' priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design and build framework-agnostic UI components for product teams across frontend technologies.
• Drive adoption of the design system across the product engineering organization; unblock migrations.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from scoping with stakeholders to production.
• Improve developer experience via tooling, testing infrastructure, and documentation.
• Make thoughtful decisions about component composition, API design, and long-term maintainability.
• Provide cross-team technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and consultation.
• Champion performance, accessibility, and web standards in shipped work.
