Job summary

Addepar, Inc. in New York, NY, is seeking a Software Engineer for the Client Experience Frameworks group to build tools and primitives that empower other engineers to deliver a consistent, high-performing UI across multiple frontend technologies.

You will own technical direction, drive design-system adoption, and collaborate across teams to balance long-term scalability with real-world constraints. Equity and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• A degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with a modern UI framework (React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Ember, or similar).
• Exposure to build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain framework-agnostic UI components for multiple frontend technologies.
• Support design system adoption across product engineering teams.
• Improve developer experience with tooling, tests, docs, and automation.
• Write well-tested, accessible component code with long-term maintainability.
• Learn across multiple frontend frameworks and web standards.
• Participate in design reviews ensuring architecture consistency.
• Champion performance and accessibility as core concerns.
