Williams in Houston is seeking a Staff Turbines Engineer to lead reliability initiatives for centrifugal and screw compressors, large gearboxes, and turbines. You will analyze performance, build models, and establish engineering standards while mentoring teams across projects.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited), 15+ years of experience in power/oil & gas, and a PE license (or eligibility).

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field from ABET-accredited college/university; PE license preferred or must be obtained.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering experience in power generation, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
• Specialist in rotating equipment, specifically turbines.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and safety-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related PC tools.

• Lead enterprise-wide reliability solutions for centrifugal compressors, screw compressors, and large gearboxes.
• Analyze performance and develop models to improve reliability and lifecycle outcomes.
• Develop and update engineering and procurement standards; mentor and train teams.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to leaders and executive audiences.
• Own the full lifecycle of the Centrifugal Compressor Program and represent the company in industry groups.
