Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for the Innovation Ventures & Sensor Technology PMO in San Diego to lead early-stage tech programs and coordinate cross-functional teams toward productization-ready solutions.

You will drive development programs with domain expertise in biomedical engineering, chemistry, or materials science, and oversee schedules, risks, and regulatory considerations to deliver impactful CGM technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required; 8–12 years experience, or Master’s with 5–7 years, or PhD with 2–4 years.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in medical device development or health tech.
• Proven program management mastery across waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment across R&D and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-project programs across cross-functional teams.
• Develop, track, and report project plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with medical device design controls and regulatory requirements.
• Align stakeholders and communicate project status to leadership.
• Navigate ambiguity in early technology development.
