Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, Sensor Technology (STPM) to bridge IVST and other R&D organizations. You will lead the sensor development programs from concept through product lifecycle, partnering with the Sensor Technology System Lead to drive plan execution.

This role requires medical device development experience under 21 CFR 820, a background in materials science or electrochemistry, and strong program management across waterfall and hybrid approaches.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing medical device development under 21 CFR 820 Design Controls.
• Strong background in materials science and/or electrochemistry.
• Able to operate across waterfall and hybrid program management approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sensor Tech workstream, ensuring successful design and development of new sensor technologies.
• Own and maintain the integrated program timeline and work breakdown structures for sensor workstreams.
• Drive design controls and regulatory compliance for sensor inputs, outputs, and verifications.
• Coordinate budget planning and resource management with program leadership.
• Lead sensor risk management within the broader program framework.
• Oversee Documentation & PLM, contributing to the DHF and related sections.
• Coordinate sensor build/test planning and verification activities.
• Serve as the main liaison, delivering status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
