Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for Measurement to unify experimentation, ML, GenAI, and data infra into a coherent, high‑impact program. You’ll shape the experimentation roadmap, drive cost efficiency, and scale data tooling across multiple teams.

You will mentor colleagues, communicate with executives, and own governance for GenAI‑driven initiatives. Role is based in the United States, with in‑office collaboration required 1–2 times per quarter.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a technical program manager.
• Ability to lead multi‑team initiatives from the ground up.
• Strong familiarity with experimentation platforms, ML systems, or data platforms.
• Excellent prioritization and decision‑making under uncertainty.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with pragmatic, creative solutions.
• Track record of earning trust with executive leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape how Pinterest measures itself by unifying experimentation, ML, GenAI, and data infrastructure into a high‑impact program.
• Drive Pinterest's experimentation roadmap—accelerating how teams test, learn, and ship new ideas at scale.
• Own the program driving cost and compute efficiency across ML systems and production‑grade data tooling.
• Lead cost optimization and evaluation for GenAI/LLM systems and build a trustworthy measurement backbone.
• Own Presto query optimization and support for the analytics agent, ensuring fast data access for company decisions.
• Measure GenAI‑driven productivity and develop evaluation frameworks for coding models.
• Own cost attribution and usage understanding across shared infrastructure to bring clarity on investments.
• Own measurement and understanding of Shopping infrastructure to identify investment areas.
• Build repeatable prioritization frameworks to move fast across a wide portfolio.
• Build transparent communication channels with leadership and partner teams.
