Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Materials Engineering with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience designing high precision mechanical components and fixtures.
• Strong GD&T and tolerance analysis, NiTi knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design high-precision fixtures and tooling for forming, heat treatment, crimping, honing, and related processes.
• Develop and optimize heat treatment and forming processes for Nitinol components.
• Apply DOE to characterize processes, identify parameters, and optimize performance.
• Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Transfer processes to manufacturing with documentation, training, and validation support.
• Create work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation; support Lean Six Sigma projects.
