Google Sunnyvale is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to lead thermal product development for cloud compute hardware. You will own processes for cooling solutions across large-scale systems and drive manufacturing strategies, supplier qualification, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in process, design, or product development for mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with hardware manufacturing and product development.

Responsibilities

• Address manufacturing issues related to yield, quality, cost, scalability and NPI.
• Define medium/long-term technical strategy and architecture for scalability.
• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize designs, processes, and supply chains.
• Provide DFx feedback, tolerance analysis, and thermal design considerations.
