Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) – Armament Systems in Plymouth, MN seeks a Staff Engineer Test to drive test planning, execution, and reporting for GBAD programs. The role supports DoD projects, interfaces with IPTs, and requires a DoD clearance and travel.

Responsibilities include creating master/test plans, leading TRRs, and coordinating with customers, CM, and design teams. Strong test engineering and GD&T skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 12 years with Bachelor's in Science; 10 years with Master's; 8 years with PhD.
• Experience with DoD programs and project verification and validation.
• Knowledge of military specifications and standards for advanced weapons.
• Experience with environmental testing methods (ballistics, temperature, vibration, etc.).
• Experience creating test plans and reports for customer deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create Master Test Plans (MTPs), HUMs, Detailed Test Plans (DTPs), and ETRs in a DoD environment.
• Lead system test activities within IPTs and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Act as CAM to manage budgets, milestones, and deliveries.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and coordinate with customers and partners.
• Plan, lead and generate required documentation packages for proposals.
