Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement test plans for board-level electronics used in satellites and aerospace systems. You will develop verification strategies across prototype, qualification, and acceptance stages, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure robust, testable designs.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 9 years of experience designing and testing board-level electronics.
• Experience with lab instruments (DSOs, spectrum analyzers, RF generators, VSAs).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute tests at prototype, qualification, and acceptance stages.
• Plan board-level verification tests including high-speed signal integrity, digital link characterization, power supply performance, and temp range.
• Develop test systems for complex hardware/software (e.g., phased array products).
• Write test software to interface with DUTs and test equipment.
• Advise design engineering on design-for-testability (DFT).
• Train technicians and operators to perform tests.
• Present test results to customers and executives.
