Collins Aerospace Interiors is seeking an experienced engineer to collaborate with test teams in setting up and evaluating aircraft seats and related furniture. You will support engineers, review test procedures and results, and use hand tools and machining know-how to ensure precise, compliant test setups.
Applicants should have an AA/AS degree with 6+ years in regulated environments, plus skills in 2D/3D modeling, MS Word/Excel, and accurate drawings interpretation.
Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace or automotive, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Proven expertise in testing and quality assurance environments, with a strong focus on delivering reliable and high-performance results.
Highly organized with strong judgment, capable of multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency with 2D and 3D modeling software, applying technical skills to support design, prototype, testing, and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment, ensuring precision and quality in production operations.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
