Job summary

Nubank is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to lead Engineering and Product hiring from a strategic standpoint. You will partner with senior leadership to shape roles and closing processes in a market where Nubank’s brand is still being built.

You will craft sourcing across tech ecosystems to attract top-tier candidates. Based in Miami with a Hybrid 1 week cycle, you will own end-to-end recruiting, build pipelines, and design scalable processes while contributing to Nubank's employer brand and

• Proven full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience closing passive candidates at senior levels (Staff/Principal).
• Hands-on sourcing for hard-to-fill roles in AI/ML, infra or platform engineering.
• Data-driven; builds reporting and uses metrics to guide strategy.
• Independent, autonomous work style in ambiguous environments.
• Partner with senior engineering leadership as a trusted advisor.
• Fluency in English is required.

About the Role

Nubank's Talent Acquisition team is the architectural backbone of our culture. As we expand, the people we hire in the next 12–24 months will shape the company's trajectory in one of the most competitive talent markets in the world.

As a Staff Technical Recruiter, you will own Engineering and Product hiring. You'll be the strategic recruiting partner for senior engineering and product leadership, operating in a market where Nubank's brand is still being built — which means your ability to tell our story, source creatively, and close exceptional candidates is what moves the needle.

You'll Be Responsible For

• Owning full-cycle recruiting for Engineering and Product roles

• Building deep passive candidate pipelines using advanced sourcing intelligence — going beyond LinkedIn to find talent where it actually lives: GitHub, ArXiv, technical communities, and industry networks

• Acting as a strategic talent advisor to engineering and product leadership: shaping role profiles, defining hiring bars and translating business goals into actionable hiring strategy

• Using data to manage pipeline health proactively — building dashboards, tracking funnel conversion, and communicating clearly with senior stakeholders

• Designing scalable hiring processes that protect candidate experience

• Contributing to Nubank's employer brand in a market where we're still earning recognition among top engineering talent

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• A proven track record of full-cycle technical recruiting, with demonstrated depth closing passive candidates at Staff and Principal engineer levels

• Hands‑on sourcing expertise for hard‑to‑fill roles — with specific tactics and channels

• Experience recruiting for AI/ML, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles, with enough technical fluency to calibrate candidates independently

• A data‑driven approach to pipeline management: someone who builds their own reporting, uses metrics to influence strategy, and knows when to escape and when to pivot

• The ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous environments — building structure, managing multiple competing priorities, and maintaining quality

• Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership as a true talent advisor

• Fluency in English is required
