Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to drive complex, high-impact programs across its product portfolio. You will enable strategy-to-launch execution, align engineering and product leaders around outcomes, and bring structure across teams, systems, and geographies.

You will lead planning for multi-team programs, build dependencies and risk metrics, and coordinate end-to-end launch readiness with engineering, quality, documentation, security, and go-to-market teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program management or related experience.
• Proven success leading large, multi-team programs from strategy through launch.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS/data-platform lifecycles.
• Ability to engage deeply with engineers and architects and influence decisions without owning technical design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive updates and risk framing.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery for complex programs across multiple engineering teams and product areas.
• Build program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, milestones, and executive health metrics.
• Drive cross-functional decisions, resolve ambiguity, and maintain aligned teams.
• Translate technical updates into concise leadership-ready updates and trade-offs.
• Identify risks early, remove barriers, and lead effective retrospectives.
• Coordinate end-to-end launch readiness across engineering, quality, documentation, security, and GTM teams.
• Use data to guide prioritization and decision-making; apply AI to improve insights and productivity.
