Job summary

Teradata seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead complex programs across its product portfolio. You will drive strategy through launch, align engineering and product leaders on outcomes, and bring structure to work spanning teams, systems, and geographies.

You will partner with product managers, engineers, QA, and go-to-market teams to ensure launch readiness and data-driven decision making. A strong cloud/SaaS background is essential for success in Teradata’s evolving analytics platform

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program management or related experience delivering enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or analytics products.
• Proven success leading large, multi-team programs from strategy through launch in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS/data-platform lifecycles.
• Ability to engage with engineers/architects and understand system dependencies without owning technical design.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-organizational decisions amid ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with concise executive updates and risk framing.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
• Practical understanding of how AI can improve program outcomes and team productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery for complex technical programs across multiple engineering teams and product areas.
• Build clear program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, milestones, and executive health metrics.
• Drive cross-functional decisions and maintain alignment through focused operating rhythms.
• Translate technical complexity into concise updates and trade-offs for senior leaders.
• Identify and remove risks, eliminating execution barriers and guiding retrospectives.
• Coordinate end-to-end launch readiness across engineering, quality, docs, support, security, and go-to-market teams.
• Use data to guide prioritization and decision-making across the program.
• Apply AI tools to improve program insight, team productivity, and execution effectiveness.
