Raytheon Vision System in Goleta, CA, is hiring a staff technician for the special fabrication lab. The role focuses on window soldering with RF and vacuum techniques, leak checks, and meticulous documentation of tests and production activities.

You will work 2nd shift onsite, collaborating across teams to support multiple tasks daily in a fast-paced environment. A 2-year degree with 6+ years of related experience is required.

Raytheon Vision System is hiring a staff technician for the special fabrication lab. The technician will report to the Supervisor and team leader of that designed lab for support tasks.

This position involves directly working with multiple teams and multiple areas. There will be cross functional daily tasks that are required to support. They possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills, and routinely demonstrate an ability to prioritize their work, multitask and schedule their time. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced team environment and be comfortable starting new tasks at any time.

Qualifications You Must Have

• AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience performing precision soldering, including RF and/or vacuum soldering techniques.
• Experience performing leak checks using appropriate testing equipment and procedures.

• Experience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes
• Strong attention to detail and visual acuity
• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Working in a very fast paced environment, must be willing to adapt to several tasks daily

The salary range for this role is 58,400 USD - 111,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
