Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to lead SEIT activities, ensuring engineering process integrity and timely delivery of core work products. This role interfaces with program management, engineering leads, and customers to maintain technical baselines and drive program success.

Qualified candidates will have DoD systems engineering experience, EVMS knowledge, and proven leadership of technical teams.

Qualifications

B.S. in STEM with 12+ years experience or M.S. with 10+ years; PhD with 8+ years preferred.
Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance required at time of application.
Experience leading technical teams in systems development, integration and test.
Knowledge of EVMS and DoD systems engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

Act as SEIT Lead ensuring engineering process integrity and baseline governance.
Serve as CAM, managing cost and schedule for core updates.
Lead program reviews and milestones (SRR, MVP, MVC, FAT, SAT).
Coordinate between technical leads, program manager, and customer for baseline integrity.
Oversee risk, TPMs, and integration across product teams.
Lead cyber and infrastructure stand-up for accredited environments.
