Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (MS&A) to lead modeling, simulation, and analysis for the Sentinel (GBSD) program. You will guide a diverse team of engineers and develop physics-based models to assess ICBM accuracy.

Required are US citizenship with a active Secret clearance, on-site work, and strong programming in Python/C++/MATLAB. The role offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package with a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, current within last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within company timeline.
• On-site in secure lab environment for 90% of total work time.
• Experience with physics-based modeling and simulation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++/C#, SQL, MATLAB, or R.
• Familiarity with Agile and SEIT processes.
• Experience leading engineers at multiple levels.
• Strong oral and written communication for high-value customer presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of engineers on Sentinel ICBM projects.
• Develop physics-based models and simulations to improve accuracy.
• Mature and validate accuracy error models; post-flight estimation.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to leadership and customers.
