Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer for the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team. The role is located in Roy, Utah or Bellevue, Nebraska, supporting the Sentinel program. A competitive relocation package may be offered.

Qualifications

• US citizen and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required/no later than application.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with related experience.
• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Proficiency in scientific programming (Python, C++/C#, SQL, MATLAB, R).
• Experience with modeling and simulation for physics-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Support physics-based predictive modeling and simulation of ICBM accuracy.
• Develop and mature Sentinel accuracy error models.
• Perform post-flight estimation of accuracy performance.
• Estimate model parameters using test data.
• Validate and verify Sentinel accuracy models.
