Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (Finance) to lead system-level investigations across PET/CT/MR, shaping interfaces and integration strategies.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams in the US, Germany, China, and India to resolve complex problems, influence architecture, and enhance product quality while advancing toward broader system responsibilities. Domestic and international travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years in systems engineering or related field involving complex medical devices.
• Experience solving cross-system problems across hardware, firmware and software.
• Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level investigations across PET, CT, and MR subsystems.
• Define cross-modality interfaces for PET with CT and MR.
• Drive integration of hardware, firmware, and software developed worldwide.
• Contribute to system architecture and interface decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across global teams.
