Job summary

Supernal is seeking an experienced System Engineering & Integration Engineer to serve as the integration authority across the aircraft development lifecycle. You will ensure alignment with FAA-recognized standards and oversee architecture, sizing, verification, and certification readiness activities at the vehicle level.

The role focuses on maintaining configuration coherence, managing interfaces across disciplines, and guiding the program through major milestones with a strong governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering, or related field required.
• 15 years of aircraft systems engineering/integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAA certification frameworks (ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254).

Responsibilities

• Review engineering processes and governance to ensure FAA-aligned development standards.
• Identify gaps between processes and FAA-compliant systems frameworks.
• Lead transfer and internalization of engineering systems and certification governance.
• Review system architectures and major decisions from integration, safety, and certification perspectives.
• Ensure vehicle-level sizing, margin strategies, and safety budgets align with means of compliance.
• Maintain cross-functional interfaces to prevent architectural inconsistencies.
