You will conduct system analyses, simulations, and architecture studies to enable scalable BMS frameworks, while collaborating with safety and reliability teams on FMEA/FTA for fault-tolerant designs.

You will define verification procedures and support OTA updates to enhance battery safety and longevity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience developing BMS or energy storage systems with embedded hardware and software for safety-critical, real-time systems.
  • Deep understanding of BMS concepts including cell modeling, state estimation, cell balancing, and fault diagnostics.
  • Ability to translate high-level system requirements into low-level embedded hardware and software requirements.
  • Experience with requirement management processes and at least one requirement management tool such as JAMA, Polarion, or 3DX.
  • Experience with cross-functional software integration, configuration management, and automated HIL testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency analyzing large-scale vehicle telemetry data using Python, SQL, or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Preferred experience with MBSE tools, OTA update pipelines, MATLAB/Simulink model-based design, ISO 26262/ASIL, ISO 21434, CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, isoSPI, AUTOSAR, fleet analytics, Git, CI/CD, and automated regression testing.

Responsibilities
