Job summary

Merlin is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to define and manage architectures for the Merlin Pilot System. You will oversee functional, logical, and physical structures and ensure traceability from customer needs to system requirements.

You will model architectures in MBSE, develop CONOPs and use cases, and coordinate interfaces for autonomy in flight missions, supporting releases and trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Execute system architecture and interface definition for the Merlin Pilot System, including functional, logical, and physical architectures.
• Capture and maintain system architectures in MBSE models, develop CONOPs, use cases, and translate customer needs into system-level requirements.
• Define and assess interfaces between mission autonomy and flight autonomy, supporting software releases and trade studies.
