Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Staff System Software Engineer to shape integration and system testing across firmware, BMC and Linux device drivers. You will design, build and automate tests for complex server-class systems, and develop reusable tools, pipelines and packaging to accelerate delivery.

This role requires deep low-level software knowledge, strong system thinking and hands-on leadership to raise testing standards and guide best practices.

Qualifications

• Deep low-level system testing experience across software and hardware.
• Strong understanding of RTOS, boot logic, Linux and drivers.
• Test development capability using Python and C/C++.
• Experience with hardware, debuggers, CI/CD pipelines and build or integration tools.
• Clear communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate and report tests across firmware, BMC and Linux device drivers.
• Develop reusable tools, pipelines and packaging solutions to speed delivery.
• Own hard technical areas and guide testing best practices.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to verify integrated components.
• Diagnose cross-layer issues and drive root-cause actions.
