Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia seeks a dedicated Staff Supervisor for the FreshSTART program to oversee resident care delivery and model positive behaviors. You will supervise direct care staff, manage evaluations, scheduling, and disciplinary actions under the Program Manager’s direction.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in Human Services or an associate’s with child experience; preference for a bachelor’s plus 2 years in human services, including residential settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or an associate's degree with at least three months experience working with children.
• Preference for Bachelor's degree plus 2 years in human services, with at least 1 year in a children's residential facility.
• High School Diploma or GED with at least six months working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of Resident care under the Program Manager.
• Serve as a positive role model for Residents to observe and learn values and behaviors.
• Supervise direct care staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and disciplinary issues.

Annual compensation up to $50,000 depending on qualifications; additional incentives available up to $6,000 annually.

As a Full-time Staff Supervisor, you will perform and supervise the delivery of Resident care under the direction of the Program Manager. You will serve as a positive role model for Residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors. Also, you will supervise direct care staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and disciplinary issues.

Education and Experience Required:

The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a Human Services field OR an associate's degree and at least three months experience working with children OR a High School Diploma or GED with at least six months working with children.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a bachelor's degree plus 2 years full time experience in a human service field, at least 1 of which is in a children's residential facility OR High School Diploma plus 3 or more years experience in the human service field with at least 1 year in a children's residential facility.
