Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Staff Software Engineer for SSIT coverage of ONNX Runtime QNN-EP, ExecuTorch, and TFLite LiteRT. You will define test strategy at feature inception and embed testability in design.

You will develop automated tests, validate on Snapdragon hardware, and drive root-cause analysis. The role combines hands-on testing with collaboration across ML and system teams, contributing to rapid, reliable feature delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 4+ years experience.
• Experience building automated test frameworks.
• Proficient in C/C++ for debugging at source level.
• Experience with ML inference frameworks.
• Familiarity with on-device validation (Snapdragon).

Responsibilities

• Set SSIT quality strategy and test architecture for the full Delegates portfolio.
• Co-owns feature quality from day one alongside development engineers.
• Primary technical bridge between the Delegates development team and downstream QA/SIT.
• Mentor SSIT engineers; establish norms for test coverage and handoff.
• Collaborate with CI/Build/Release engineers to embed SSIT automation.
