Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to define reliability architecture for its CorpTech Platform, shaping observability, deployment safety, and incident response across the company’s production systems.

You will influence software engineering teams, establish production-readiness standards, and drive investments to prevent systemic failures while supporting rapid growth of the platform and AI-enabled services.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, production engineering, or related discipline.
Experience designing and owning reliability infrastructure used by multiple teams.
Fluency with distributed systems, containers, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Set reliability architecture for production environment, including observability, deployments, incident management, capacity planning, and failure-domain isolation.
Design and operate observability platform with metrics, tracing, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
Own deployment infrastructure and release-safety mechanisms (canary, progressive rollout, automated rollback).
Define and govern SLO frameworks for reliability measurement and cross-team alignment.
Identify systemic reliability risks and drive investments to prevent recurrence.
Establish production-readiness standards and review processes across teams.
Lead incident response for complex failures and drive durable improvements.
Develop reliability patterns for AI-enabled systems, including monitoring drift and graceful degradation.
Provide technical direction to SRE and infra engineers and influence platform planning.
