Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Senior Manager for the CorpTech Platform who will bridge software engineering, reliability, and applied AI. You’ll own production systems, ensure reliability, and mature AI‑enabled engineering practices for the organization.

You’ll lead a team of engineers, set roadmaps, mentor staff, and collaborate with product and AI teams to deliver robust, scalable platforms. This role requires strong leadership and a background in modern distributed systems and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering or reliability engineering.
• 2+ years of direct people management of software engineers.
• Led engineering teams that owned production systems end to end, including on‑call.
• Strong fluency in APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability and cloud infra.
• Experience with AI‑enabled software systems and AI‑accelerated workflows.
• Strong leadership in hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• BS in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software engineering team building, shipping, and operating production software at the AI/software intersection.
• Set and drive the team roadmap across features, reliability, AI-enabled capabilities, and ops.
• Manage, coach, and develop software engineers and tech leads, including hiring and succession planning.
• Partner with product, AI engineering, platform, infra, and downstream stakeholders to align priorities and delivery.
• Establish engineering norms around design review, testing, release management, on‑call, and incident response.
• Drive reliability and operational excellence across services and prevent recurring failures.
• Advance the use of AI in engineering through AI coding assistants and automation.
• Ensure AI-enabled systems have quality, safety, and reliability controls.
