The Opportunity:

We believe people with diabetes should enjoy active lives. Our focus is on helping them manage their health more effectively with innovative products that provide accurate data for better decisions. We are revolutionizing glucose monitoring with new sensing technology. Currently, our Diabetes division has an opening for a Staff Software Test Engineer.

What You'll Do:

  • Review test plan deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, ensuring adequate test coverage for each release
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, review their work for quality and compliance
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC process
  • Incorporate automated testing into the SDLC strategically
  • Evaluate and recommend new testing tools
  • Develop and optimize automation scripts and frameworks using Python, focusing on efficiency and scalability
  • Automate testing processes for unit and integration testing, adhering to medical industry standards
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Agile methodologies
  • Customize automation solutions to meet medical industry regulatory and operational needs
  • Maintain and enhance automation systems, identifying new automation opportunities
  • Lead automation projects and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality documentation for automated systems, ensuring compliance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience in Software Testing and/or Quality Assurance
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a regulated industry
  • At least 1 year as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
  • Strong technical skills and experience testing mobile applications
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical device experience
  • Experience in agile development environments
  • Experience with embedded systems and integration testing
  • Cybersecurity, medical mobile applications, or cloud computing experience
