Job summary

A global healthcare leader is seeking a Software Test Engineer - 2 to manage software testing tasks within the Agile SDLC process. This role focuses on ensuring quality through verification and validation test plans, troubleshooting, and collaboration with development teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in software testing, particularly in web applications and automation testing using Python.

**What You'll Do**

+ Complete software testing and activities in conjunction for user stories within the Agile SDLC process

+ Review System Specifications/Requirements documents, user stories and create verification test cases (based on those requirements), and execute test cases.

+ Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing, develop test datasets and execute automation scripts (to ensure application software releases are of high quality)

+ Investigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes.

+ Create verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices and review with relevant stakeholders (dev and quality)

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.

+ 2 years’ experience in Software Testing and/or Software Quality Assurance including coursework.

+ Must be technically strong and have experience testing web applications

+ Experience with automation testing using Python

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Medical Device experience strongly preferred.

+ Experience in an agile development environment preferred.

+ Experience with embedded systems and integration testing with external systems preferred

+ Cyber security, medical mobile applications or cloud computing experience preferred.

The base pay for this position is $66,700.00 – $133,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
