Join our GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Solution engineering team at Workiva to build innovative, resilient, and user-friendly products that meet market demands. As part of our Frontend Enablement team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the frontend architecture and design while empowering full-stack solution teams across Workiva. We are seeking a passionate engineer who can drive the adoption of TypeScript as a first-class frontend language, leveraging expertise in TypeScript and React to lead this transformation.

What You’ll Do
Build and enhance user interfaces for GRC solutions, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration with downstream teams.
Shape and execute our TypeScript and React strategy, enabling scalable, high-quality solutions.
Partner with product owners, designers, and engineers to align on project goals and ensure a cohesive user experience.
Guide and mentor engineers, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices, participate in code reviews, and drive consistency across teams.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure software reliability.
Establish and document TypeScript best practices, building resources that elevate the entire engineering organization.
Engage in product discovery activities to understand user needs and identify opportunities for innovation.
What You’ll Need
Required Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience with TypeScript and React in large-scale applications.
Expertise in TypeScript application architecture and frontend APIs.
Strong knowledge of microfrontend architecture and modern frontend frameworks.
Proven ability to debug complex systems and design scalable solutions.
Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused culture.
Solid foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and cloud-based distributed systems.
Familiarity with agile development practices and continuous delivery.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in frontend development.
How You’ll Be Rewarded
Salary range in the US: $129,000.00 - $207,000.00. A discretionary bonus typically paid annually. Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire. 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package. The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
