Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a software engineer to join the Marketplace integrity team. You will scale distributed applications, build data pipelines, and deploy ML-based defenses to fight automation abuse across LinkedIn products.

The role requires strong coding skills, leadership, and the ability to drive large cross-functional programs. This is a hybrid role with select days in the office, offering a competitive compensation package focused on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or related practical experience.
• 4+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
• 4+ years programming experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.
• 3+ years of experience in Trust and Safety, Anti-Abuse domain or similar.

Responsibilities

• Scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
• Develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7.
• Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for CI.
• Provide technical leadership, driving best engineering practices for large-scale cross-functional programs.
