Job summary

WEX is seeking a seasoned Data Platform Engineer to own the orchestration and containerization stack while driving CI/CD automation, observability, and cloud cost optimization.

You will bridge data engineering, infrastructure, and operations to maintain a robust, production-grade data platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-paced cloud environment.

This full-time role is based in San Francisco and requires 6+ years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Experience building and supporting big data environments.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, Apache Airflow, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
