Job summary

You will collaborate across teams to translate product requirements into robust systems, applying best practices for availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

You will lead features end-to-end, contribute to incident resolution, and continuously improve code quality with AI-assisted, high-velocity workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• - 9+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience or advanced degrees with significant experience.
• - 1+ years of technical leadership or domain-expert experience.
• - Proven track record owning full lifecycle of high-scale services.
• - Experience with Java, C++, and/or Go.
• - Experience with NoSQL, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate our most critical and scalable services.
• Work across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver solutions for innovative products.
• Advocate for and apply best practices for availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost management.
• Utilize AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows to design and ship scalable services while upholding production-grade code quality.
• Independently execute on medium-sized features over a few weeks with multiple PRs.
• Understand operational aspects of systems and participate in incident or hotfix resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with others.
