Job summary

The Trade Desk in Bellevue, WA seeks a Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend data pipelines for large-scale content catalog and metadata, and to build high-throughput data workflows with Spark. You will implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs and data integration across diverse sources.

You will collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate models, and contribute to observability, reliability, and performance of systems at global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Five years of experience in software development or related field.
• Experience with Python/Java/Scala in production.
• Experience building data pipelines with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
