Qualifications

• Five years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Three years delivering software in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Two years designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Two years building data pipelines with distributed processing (e.g., Spark).
• Experience deploying services on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases; data modeling and query tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend data pipelines for processing large-scale catalogs and metadata.
• Build and optimize high-throughput data workflows for ingestion, transformation, and aggregation.
• Create secure, scalable RESTful APIs to expose data services to internal platforms and downstream systems.
• Architect data integration across heterogeneous sources ensuring data consistency and availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate models and feature engineering into production.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
