You will own major technical areas of Ray Core, define roadmaps, drive production-grade delivery, and mentor engineers, while shaping long-term architecture as workloads scale.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with distributed systems and computer systems.
• Track record of leading large projects and owning outcomes in production.
• Strong systems programming in C++, Rust, Java or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own a major technical area of Ray Core end to end, defining roadmap and execution.
• Lead large, technically complex projects across teams and organizations.
• Set technical direction for distributed computing infrastructure.
• Design and evolve core distributed-systems primitives.
• Work on areas like scheduling, resource management, fault tolerance, or networking.
• Remain hands-on with implementation and debugging in a systems codebase.
