Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff/Principal Product Engineer who pairs craft with product sense to ship across mobile, web, and backend stacks. You’ll not wait for perfect scope, but partner with product, design, and data to decide what’s worth building and then deliver end-to-end.

Qualifications

10+ years of software experience with hands-on coding and shipping product end-to-end.
Deep mobile app expertise (iOS/Android) with performance, offline sync, and security awareness.
Ability to lead architecture discussions and mentor engineers across teams.

Responsibilities

Identify, scope, and ship changes that move business metrics across mobile, web, and services.
Architect scalable systems with performance, reliability, and offline behavior in mind.
Lead design reviews and balance trade-offs between code quality, product impact, and time-to-ship.
Improve release management, observability, incident response, and monitoring in production.
Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineering leaders to decide what to build and in what order.
Set technical standards, prototype patterns, and evangelize best practices across teams.
Communicate trade-offs clearly to engineers, product partners, and leadership.
