Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Privacy Engineering within the Product Integrity organization. You will help define the Privacy Engineering roadmap and scale services to ensure user privacy for vehicle owners and operators.

Join a cross-discipline team spanning embedded, cloud, and data engineers, collaborating with security and software partners to protect privacy across services and vehicles.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience using modern programming languages to develop production quality software.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
• Knowledge of cryptography, cloud-native development, privacy and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and maintain privacy-critical services.
• Set privacy standards and implement privacy best practices.
• Drive specification and implementation of new privacy services.
• Mitigate vulnerabilities by aligning with company goals.
• Implement privacy protections to comply with regulations.
