Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a BS in CS/IT with 10 years of software development experience; proficiency in Java, REST, SQL, GIT, and web services, plus experience integrating third-party products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 10 years of software development experience.
• Experience in web-based applications and web services such as Java, REST, SQL, GIT, and other technologies.
• Experience integrating third-party products; deep understanding of SDLC and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical leader, guiding architecture, testing, and delivery across multiple teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive improvements in engineering practices and platform reliability.
• Identify risks and dependencies, plan mitigations, and communicate with product owners and management.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve platform availability for students, faculty, and staff.
