Responsibilities
- Lead Big Data and GenAI agentic product development by gathering requirements and making technical decisions.
- Drive new architecture initiatives for the GenAI Agentic-based next-generation platform.
- Contribute as a hands-on engineer with a proven track record in solving complex technical problems and producing high-quality code.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Guide other engineers on high-scale distributed computing challenges.
- Define, implement, and automate deployment of highly available, production workloads with zero downtime, including operational metrics for monitoring.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, mentoring engineers and leading small teams in solving challenging programming and design problems.
- Engage with the open-source community and collaborate with third-party partners.
- Promote the product through blogs, social media, demos, and conference presentations.
Compensation and Benefits
Intuit offers a competitive package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The base pay range in Bay Area, California, is $197,000 - $265,500. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location, with ongoing pay equity evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in technical leadership roles.
- Experience in four or more areas such as Cloud, Distributed Systems, Big Data, Event Processing, GenAI Tools, Agentic Architecture, Vector Stores, Graph DBs, Kubernetes, Semantic Clustering.
- Proficiency in building distributed software platforms in Java and Python.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Motivated team player with a proactive attitude.
- Practical knowledge of distributed service design, messaging protocols, caching, and autonomous software practices.
- Passion for data-driven decision making and automation.
- Strong coding, architecture, debugging, and performance measurement skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
