We seek a talented Principal Software Engineer to serve as our Compliance Architect, leading compliance strategies, best practices, and secure solutions for our developer and cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop and own a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with industry standards and regulations.
• Design and implement security frameworks to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate across teams to embed compliance into the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits, addressing gaps proactively.
• Act as the point of contact for audits and compliance reviews.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging technologies.
• Guide engineering teams on secure coding and compliance integration.

This role requires

• Bachelor's or Master's in a related field.
• Several years of experience in compliance architecture or similar roles.
• Deep knowledge of frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, FedRamp, ISO.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and secure software practices.
• Proven experience in SaaS or cloud compliance strategies.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Golang.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~1 week/quarter).

Bonus points if you have

• Certifications like CISSP, CISA.
• Knowledge of risk management, vulnerability assessment, and IAM solutions.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks.
