Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, Robotics or related field.
• 5+ years in embedded systems, robotics, AI or HPC platforms.
• Strong C/C++ software development and debugging experience.
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture, memory subsystems, firmware and drivers.
• Embedded Linux, Ubuntu, BSPs, bootloaders, kernel debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead Physical AI, humanoid robotics and robotic compute platforms using Renesas R-Car SoCs.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to create reference designs and reusable solutions.
• Support customer programs from architecture to bring-up and validation.
• Analyze and optimize AI/robotics workloads across CPU/GPU/NPU and accelerators.
• Lead system-level debugging across Linux, ROS2, GPUs, drivers and memory systems.
• Define workload partitioning to balance latency, throughput and power.
