Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering organization and develop scalable, high-performance software for automation, fulfillment, and material-flow systems.

You will design and implement real-time distributed software, tackle NP-hard optimization problems, and contribute to architecture, performance, and maintainability in a collaborative Agile setting with occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with C# and .NET in production systems.
Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, and design patterns.
Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Design and develop real-time distributed software for automation systems.
Build highly available and scalable software systems.
Research and productize NP-hard optimization solutions using combinatorial methods.
Collaborate with peers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Travel to client sites may be required.
