Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a highly technical Lead/Staff Software Engineer to own the integration and automation of core merchandising platforms, including Stibo STEP PIM and Oracle RMS/RMFCS.
This hands-on role requires coding, platform configuration, and cross-functional collaboration to manage enterprise product lifecycles. You will architect data models, build data pipelines across RMS, PIM, ERP, and e-commerce, and drive agentic AI initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Our team builds and supports the core merchandising and product data platforms that keep the business moving, from item setup and product enrichment to pricing, inventory, and omnichannel execution.
We are seeking a highly technical, strategic, and domain-expert Lead / Staff Software Engineer to spearhead the engineering, integration, and automation of our core enterprise merchandising platforms. In this role, you will take full ownership of our master data and core merchandising ecosystem, Stibo STEP PIM (Product Information Management) and Oracle Retail Suite (RMS / RMFCS). Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and Product Information Management (PIM) role bridges merchandising and data governance. You will design, configure, and maintain integrated platforms to manage enterprise product lifecycles, ensuring seamless data flow across supply chain, inventory, and point-of-sale systems. This is a strictly hands‑on role. You will write code, build integrations, configure platforms, and actively architect the system and collaborate other cross functional teams. Beyond traditional software engineering, this position requires demonstrated experience in Agentic AI development.

The expected starting pay range for this position is$160,000 - $190,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
