Job summary

Secureframe is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the technical scope, design, and implementation of new end-to-end functionality across the platform. You will review code, mentor engineers, and guide architecture for core components while coordinating multiple teams.

You will partner with designers and product managers to solve ambiguous user challenges, drive best practices with fellow Staff engineers, and help shape the long-term technical direction of Secureframe’s backend systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Ruby experience.
• 8+ years of backend experience with modern languages (Ruby, Python, Go, etc).
• Experience building large-scale integrations and documenting public APIs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives and architectural discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical scoping, design, and implementation of new end-to-end functionality.
• Perform detailed code reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineers.
• Lead architecture and architectural discussions for core parts of the Secureframe application.
• Own multi-team coordination and communication for cross-cutting initiatives.
• Work closely with other Staff engineers to establish and guide best practices across engineering.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to solve ambiguous user challenges.
