Job summary

Resideo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own complex cloud initiatives across device integration, cloud services, and application consumption. You will balance hands-on coding with technical leadership, driving end-to-end ownership and disciplined software practices.

You will design backend services in C#/.NET on Azure, define contracts, and architect event-driven workflows using Azure messaging services while guiding cross-functional teams toward reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production-grade cloud systems with C#/.NET

Responsibilities

• Own medium-to-large initiatives end-to-end from discovery to production
• Lead a pod of 2-3 developers with technical direction and accountability
• Define service contracts using OpenAPI and JSON Schema
• Architect event-driven workflows with Azure messaging services
• Lead design decisions balancing scalability, reliability, and deliver timelines
• Ensure ownership boundaries and integration expectations across teams
