Vanta is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction and scale our product and infrastructure while mentoring a growing engineering team.

You will lead large, cross‑functional initiatives spanning multiple quarters, make strategic technical decisions, and champion engineering excellence and best practices across the organization.

This role offers impact, collaboration with product and security teams, and opportunities to work with modern technologies in a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of industry experience with deep expertise in multiple technical areas.
• Strong system design and software architecture skills.
• Experience leading complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.
• Experience building user-facing SaaS products.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead by example.

• Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects with long-term impact.
